It is said, “you can safely forget an Amarone in your cellar”. Sorry for my impatience. This wine is dark , rich, elegant and adventurous. Figs, dates, ripe dark plums and raisins are some of the featured profiles of flavor. An initial sweetness becoming a robust, long and smooth finish.
Wish I could say I have more forgotten Amarone in my cellar.

WOTN.not too sweet, no alcoholic heat despite the 17%. Nice fruit. Bussola never dissapoints. Terrific wine!
