The 2020 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with hints of peach skin, undergrowth and resin scents, becoming more floral with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a fine thread of acidity, quite tensile with a touch of dried honey emerging towards the finish, reflecting that warm summer. Very fine. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis. (Neal Martin, Vinous, September 2022)

Too vanilla and sweet - one of Anne’s fav — a year ago
Dark fruit forward, juicy blackberry, blueberry, and plum, underbrush and earth, resolved tannins and excellent lift. Wonderful. Maybe the best red I’ve had from the Finger Lakes. — 2 years ago
Picked this up at the winery in FLX. Aroma of citrus and minerals. Tart minerals up front. Not your typical Chardonnay. Minerals and citrus in the middle. A quick finish. — 3 years ago
6/23 a big fruit forward, very well balanced. Impressive Cab. 90 — 2 years ago
Young and fruit forward, stone and tropical fruit, fresh and vibrant, apparently off dry but drinks pretty dry. — 2 years ago
Really crisp and easy drinking! — 3 years ago

Co-fermented field blend from Seneca Lake. Prickly tangerine, nectarine, and lychee. Beautiful wine with texture and some grip. Great packaging. Sustainable and solar powered winery. — 8 months ago
