Lean vibrant citrus lime zest long finish touch of ruby grapefruit — 2 months ago
Really nice actually. Thought it was too syrupy at first but after 30 mins it mellowed and became crushable yum — 4 days ago
Strawberry, raspberry aromas.
Light red color. Fruity, Jammy raspberry and cola flavors w/ nicely balanced acidity. Not oaky.
Good overall.

Jello served separately for the kids. Not a wine pairing!

Result. Super fruity and as if it barely had oxygen. Nice a smooth with red raspberries a a hint of strawberry. Delicious — 4 months ago
Presented double-blind. The wine pours a light straw color with medium viscosity and no signs of particles or gas. On the nose, the wine is developing with tart and ripe notes of apple, pear, underripe pineapple, lemon curd, nuts and minerals. I felt like there was some deft use of oak. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+, bordering on high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and chocked full of minerals. My immediate impression was Bourgogne Blanc and I was having a hard time getting away from it. So I called Chardonnay, from France, Burgundy, Chassagne-Montrachet with 3-5 years of age. Gosh dammit! Margaret River strikes again!!! Blind, I always seem to call these Chablis or some other high quality white Burg. And I adore the Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnays. They always impress me. Drink now through 2036. — a month ago
1997 a great year for California, not as good as 1994 but has aged well. With prime rib roast for 2024 Christmas Dinner! — 2 months ago

Medium ruby in color; black cherries, blackberries, and baking spices on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like red plums, blueberries, clay pots and graphite with a long finish. I liked it. Nellie didn't. — 10 days ago
