What a treat to enjoy this pristine bottle of Marcassin Pinot, perfectly stored since release, the wine had plenty of dark red fruit, a touch of floral perfume on the nose and then dead sexy on the palate, rich and balanced with a long silky finish. Thanks AT, it was even better enjoyed with you! — 4 years ago

Dark fruit but has mellowed over the years or “softened “ definite tobacco and licorice hints and great earth tones but time to drink IMO! — 3 years ago
I am officially on staycation for the next week. I plan on trying lots of new wines, eating good food, reading, napping and hanging by the pool. My brother just retired from the State Department and is pretty much homeless at this time so it will be nice to catch up since he’s been at the Embassy in Bahrain for the last few years. Cheers! 🍷😘🌴🌞⛱ — 6 years ago

This Pa brewery is rocking my world. Close my eyes and taste this, and I drift back to my time when I lived in Waterloo, Brussels. Label says 9.5% abv, but it’s tucked in nicely. Woody notes on the palate, with cardamom, cloves and licorice. Heart-warming as it slips down the hatch. Well done! — 7 years ago

Pop and pour. A radiant medium ruby red color with a purplish hue. On the nose: candied raspberry, dried herbs, earth, pepper, cherries, tea, slight vanilla. Taste: A smooth, creamy, rich, nicely structured wine with dark cherry, cola, ruby red grapefruit, some earth, and a spiced tart plum finish. YUM! — 4 years ago

Fint och svalt vin. Smakar svart vinbär. Dricks en varm dag på balkongen med litet snacks. — 6 years ago
Full body and not too sweet or tart. Notes of “dark grape skin”. Very nice. — 6 years ago
Pop and pour, wine shows fantastic out of the gate. Insanely dark, inky in the glass. Wonderful nose with loads of vanilla oak and a hint of pepper with a slight alcohol burn. First taste far exceeds expectation. Velvety tannin l, the vanilla note shines in this wine (which works wonderfully) for the price this wine is amazing. A Calistoga wine for the price and quality is almost unheard of in this day and age. Defiantly seek it out. — 7 years ago
