Year of the Monkey Single Vineyard Pinot Noir

Grapefruit, pomegranate, sea shells, hint of mesquite bbq.

Pop and pour. A radiant medium ruby red color with a purplish hue. On the nose: candied raspberry, dried herbs, earth, pepper, cherries, tea, slight vanilla. Taste: A smooth, creamy, rich, nicely structured wine with dark cherry, cola, ruby red grapefruit, some earth, and a spiced tart plum finish. YUM!

Haven’t opened this one for a bit. Developing nicely! Earth and smashed blackberries on the nose. The palate is black cherry with a hint of vanilla and just enough stem to balance it and give it structure.

All upfront, no finish , over priced

Year of the monkey Carneros Pinot. Classic Russian River in every way. Dense dark fruit opens to earthy barnyard notes. Gorgeous!

One of our favorite Pinots. Great on its own. With a charcuterie plate on a cool Fall day.
