Intense spiced berry, black licorice and peppery florals emerge from the 2017 Terre di San Leonardo. Silky with depths of fruit accelerated by brisk acids, the 2017 leaves the palate reeling, with its spry, lightly structured personality. This young-vine Bordeaux blend is an amazing value. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2022) — 3 years ago
Surprising, unusual - feeling like drinking wine as it would have been made 100 years ago. High acidity, sour fruit. — 3 years ago
Terre s Di San Vito blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon — a year ago
Ruby dress. Multi-dimensional nose announcing a beautiful density: paradoxical green notes of mint, eucalyptus, then bark, then resin, roasting, cedar, vanilla, finally the fruit is revealed behind the tertiary and evolutionary notes (earth, humus, truffle). The bouquet is compact and consistent. The tannins are wide, and the acidity is medium. A wine on the scale that can withstand fatty and juicy dishes without any problem. Can age
Robe rubis. — 2 years ago
Terre di San Leonardo is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (40%), and Carmenere (10%), run by the Gonzaga family since its inception in 1724. Wine is fermented with ambient yeasts in concrete tanks and 20% is aged in French oak barrels. Ruby with aromas ripe red fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of rich plum and blackberry with herb, light spice and slight earthy notes. Medium+ finish, fine soft tannins, ending with fruit, floral and earthy mineral character. Tremendous value! — 5 months ago
Az. Agr. Fiorano ‘Giulia Erminia’ Marche Bianco IGT 2015: Well-balanced. Bright acidity. Big taste. Pronounced lemon notes, light oak and a touch of vanilla. Elegant long finish. All in all, one of the best Pecorino wines I’ve had in a really long time. A great wine pairing/selection with the awesome food from Valenti & Co. in San Anselmo of Potato Gnocchi and Costoletta alla Milanese! Great day to all wine lovers! Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago

In Little Italy in San Diego, and pairing this Calabrese grape - Magliocco - with Calabrese food. Wonderful. Full bodied, soft tannins. — 2 months ago
