2021 vintage. Hints of richness throughout but never a safe space. Ultimately lean with a massive tannic howdoyoudo but always balanced. This wine will challenge most palates to the moon and beyond. Pretty phenomenal for QPR, yet so distinctive, thinking the general wine public needs a solid two decades to grasp. Screams for food except for the cork dorks that would gobble this up 8 days a week. Very smooth tannins and slightly earthy aromas from this very drinkable Barbaresco, 100% nebbiolo. Definitely some aging potential. — 23 days ago

Super interesting. Not as acidic and complex. Beautiful on the nose. Straddling between orange and white. — 2 months ago
Blend of blend of 60% Carricante, 25% Catarratto, 10% Grecanico and 5% Minnella, aged in French oak for 10 months. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits adding honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. Nice! — 23 days ago
We had this at GIANNA in New Orleans and it was spectacular! — a month ago
After sending back an oxidized, tired 2020 Rossi di Montalcino, the Somm had the waiter bring back this wine at around the same price point. Don’t sleep on #barberadalba from a great producer. Raspberry, plum, dusty dark fruit nose. So vibrant on the palate with lush yet tangy dark red fruit on the entry, gossamer tannins on the finish. Corking it after dinner and after the next day in the wine fridge still as alive. — 2 months ago

2013 vintage. Needed an hour and a half to open. Light, juicy, unripe dark red fruits, black pepper, excellent with spicy homemade pizzas. — 13 days ago
