Nice wine — 8 months ago
Purchased in Firenze, brought home. — a year ago
Superb nose. Big bright dark cherries. Slight hint of reduction as well. Woodsmoke and spices galore. Reduction blows off after 5 minutes. Once can tell from the nose that this wine is stuffed to the gills. The darker side of Chianti. What a nose. Keeps opening and opening. Palate is dark, deep and concentrated. Lovely hit of opulence in the mid palate and then wonderful sweet fruit and lovey structure. The tannins are something fierce but not overwrought. Great length. This is superb. What poise and balance. Amazing structure and density. Such sweetness! Confectionery cherries galore. A baby now but has 25+‘years to go. Wonderful.

b15. Very good! Soft smoked meat nose. Juicy, dark black currant and soft plum fruit. Dry, slightly astringent chocolate and soft leather finish. — 7 months ago
Robust Super Tuscan with medium tannin, served with pasta at Alta Strada in Wellesley, MA — a year ago
Delightful. Enjoyed with some delicious food. — 2 months ago
Don’t know what’s in the blend but this vino, even 2021 vintage, is Super Tuscan to me…very flavorful balanced, good nose, not too much tannic, just right…deep berry, more like a Napa red or Paso Robles red. Drink again! — 8 months ago
Had at Sette Nani in Belgrade, Serbia. Unsure if vintage or specific vineyard but made by winemaker and it was a Nero d’Avola. — 2 years ago

Dark ruby color. Nose is floral, rose, red fruit and some strong cedar. High acid, astringent and tannic upon opening. Better after 2 hours of air. Pepper, tart dark fruit. This will improve with age. — 21 days ago
