The cork was disintegrating and the bottle was not entirely off but not as we remember this wine. Great fruit and tanins underneath what tasted as a very evolved and somewhat “cooked” Lafleur. Hoping our last couple of bottles will be better than this one… — 5 years ago

Wow. Kaleidoscopic wine. Dark cherries, dark chocolate, tobacco, roses and violets, a precise, pure, elegant and complex wine that is great now but will stand the test of time.
