Wow. Kaleidoscopic wine. Dark cherries, dark chocolate, tobacco, roses and violets, a precise, pure, elegant and complex wine that is great now but will stand the test of time. The cork was disintegrating and the bottle was not entirely off but not as we remember this wine. Great fruit and tanins underneath what tasted as a very evolved and somewhat “cooked” Lafleur. Hoping our last couple of bottles will be better than this one… — 4 years ago
