Thanks! I’ll open one of my 2012 Hirsch wines soon. The 2012 Pinots from the Sonoma Coast seem to be in a good place right now. In the last couple of weeks I’ve had a 2012 Kutch McDougall Ranch and a 2012 Rivers Marie Occidental. Both were excellent.

Blind by TA. Looked a little older that it was, but most were spot on with varietal and its Burgundian origin. Big wine, a little oxidative, racy acidity. Enjoyable but a little lost in the crowd on the night. — 2 years ago
