Rhonda had it at the stone's and really liked it. Buy a case. Or all if it is a good price. — 5 years ago
St. Estèphe, literally a stone's throw from the more prestigious Paulliac region, while not topping its sister commune by any means certainly holds its own. Huge initial notes include cassis, black currant, and anise followed by some of the largest tannins I've tasted in a wine this young. Great wine from a lesser well-known commune. 💥 for 💵 — 9 years ago

Great Wine!! California wine in Door County!! — 10 years ago
Very strong at 13%, but you can't tell from the taste. Dark and smooth with maybe a chocolate type finish.... ? :-) — 10 years ago
After selling grapes to a number of wineries, in the 90's Fritz Stuhlmuller decided to put the family's name on a label, to produce small lots of Chard & Cab. Located a stone's throw from Chalk Hill and the RRV. Aromas of fruit and toasty oak spice. On the palate pear, apple and hints of peach with citrus notes and nice round oaky tones. Medium+ finish ending with a creamy mineral edge. — 8 years ago
Very nice blend. At a terrific restaurant within a stone's throw from Paul Revere House. With rabbit pasta. — 9 years ago
Knowing that there's a rent-by-the-hour motel a stone's throw from these vines means the world to me 🇺🇸 — 9 years ago
Intense black cherry, pepper, basil, and honey notes balanced out by a complex dryness that pulls away any hint of cloying without excess astringency. I will be looking out for this one! — 10 years ago
Happy 15th Birthday to our great son Nicanor! A special wine for a special occasion. Last year this time, we were staying within a stone's throw of Brovia in Castiglione Falletto. Next time, we will be sure to visit. I have no doubt that this wine is still young, yet already strong, multifaceted, and brilliant--on it's way to becoming a rock star!

Wine no.2 from Mr. Stone's mixtape night... Flinty and soft, great with '70s rock. — 9 years ago
Tried this again, about a year later. Time proved well. The vines of Lilian-Ladouys are found a stone's throw from the Graves of Cos d'Estournel and the Chateau Lafite-Rothschild. Purple, with inky tones. Aromas of black and blue fruit, smoky notes and soft spice. Palate displays black and blue fruits with toasty oak flavors, full body with round tannins. Finish ends with earthy mineral tones. — 9 years ago
