Needed to open up. Dinner with the Swedes at Lebanese restaurant in Stockholm — 9 months ago
Not a beer geek myself, but even I know this was extraordinary. While the nose is quite mild, the flavours hits you like a bus. Heavily hopped with a bittersweet balance, and a round almost-oily mouthfeel (only held back by some carbonation). Orange rind, lychee, grass, malt, and caramel comes to mind. Lingers with a little warmth, which gives it a great sense of robustness. Delicious, but perhaps a little too intense for me.
NB: Intensity seems to be a common theme in these Omnipollo brews. These guys sure take things to the extreme. Big fan, but definitely not for the faint-hearted. — 6 years ago

Few bubbles in the glass. Bruised golden apple, golden pear, slightly reductive / sherry-like. Reminded me a lot of the Peter Lauer 1987 Riesling sekt, but with fewer bubbles. An interesting but not crowd-pleasing Champagne. @ Persona, Stockholm — a month ago
Crazy bottle. Opens for 12 hours before dinner. Started mostly secondary…mushroom, truffle, leaves with some dark fruit hiding out. In the next hour a core of dark raspberry, almost chambord popped out. Tannins tame. Great balence of of aged secondary and ripe and extracted dark fruit..excellent — 10 months ago

Really nice dessert wine though sweeter / less acidity than I’m used to. Light, almost transparent color, foamy bubbles. Tons of wildflower notes, paired well with a strawberries and cream-like dessert. @ Nook, Stockholm — a month ago
Sine Qua Non extended barrel age tasting.
Together with the Stockholm syndrome this was my WOTN.
All wines performed beautifully. It showed a consistent style throughout the line up with only nuanced differences.
The EBA cuvee's get an extended time in barrel. Typically 12 months extra if I'm correct. We selected bottles that had a bit of age / cellar time from our collections since these need time to show their full development potential.
Massively structured and a plethora of spices can be found in all cuvee's. High alcohol but all well integrated and balanced. Worth seeking out if you like the style. — 2 years ago
Nice red. Can serve slightly chilled. Good with a variety of food. Enjoyed at our classic Swedish dinner in Stockholm at Tradition — 7 years ago
Can’t think of a better way to end 2017 and begin 2018 than with my all time favorite. A couple of 2000 vintages with “The Hussy” And “Incognito,” along with a couple of newer releases in “Résiste” And “Stockholm Syndrome.” No notes tonite. Happy New Year everyone! — 9 years ago
