A pleasant nose of brioche bread opens over a fine bubbled, straw colored body. The flavor is very dry, with a prominent acidity and notes of star fruit and wet slate. VERY dry, but a nice champagne. — 2 years ago
We roasted a duck, so I immediately went here. As Burgundian as I’ve experienced from USA though lacking a tad in complexity. Extraordinarily light. Nose is a cohesive, complex elegant perfume of rose and unripened cherry; the star of the show. Palette shows fresh cranberry, mint. Soft but expressive acid. — 3 years ago

See previous notes from 21 weeks ago. The warm 2015 vintage giving more tropical fruit flavours like pineapple. Still vibrant and fresh with medium minus acid. Great to drink now. Can’t see the point of extended cellaring. Looking forward to trying some 2014 Premier Crus from young Benjamin Leroux who is a rising star in Burgundy. — 3 years ago
Heavy cassis with notes of blackberry and spices are the star here. Somewhat musty nose. Paired well with gravy laden pork tenderloin. — 2 years ago
Seemed an appropriate Christmas wine. Can’t rave enough about Kf wines. QPR is a little whack but it delivers. Way too young to open but ran it through the Venturi a few times and it showed really pretty red fruit, elegant wine. Hold for several years before trying again. — 3 years ago

Star bright pale yellow. Subtle inviting nose and medium palate of Meyer lemon, underripe peach, and white flowers. Bracing acidity more than balances the Kabinett-level residual sugar yielding an excellent pair for a wide range of foods (pork and roasted fowl in particular) and a wonderful warm weather sipper. Drink now through 2032. — 3 months ago
