Starts out pleasant, but after 20 min in the glass, it’s really singing. I’m not usually moved by sparkling rosé but this is a real standout. Cranberry, dark cherry cordial, pomegranate, apricot kernel, almond liqueur, gingerbread spice, and rose geranium carry over from the nose to the palate. Dry, structured, and slightly tart, with a fine, lightly prickly mousse. The color is a deep cranberry red, almost more like a mid-weight Lambrusco thank a classic rosé, and the flavors are accordingly intense—which makes this an unexpectedly versatile wine for food pairing. I had it with moderately spicy Kashmiri-style fried chicken and it was a perfect match. — 5 years ago
Slovenian style Pinot Gris almost like red wine! Bitter orange cest and much more... Fantastic! — 5 years ago

Solid. Not great pairing with the spicy food on the menu, but happy to have tasted. — a year ago
Excellent, crisp, a little funky — 2 years ago
Zesty and lively, this Croatian white pops with citrus, white peach, and almond notes. A great foil for rotisserie chicken and a warm early-summer evening. 100% Malvazija. 6/12/22. — 4 years ago

Complex yet very harmonic orange Malvasia. Overripe apples, balsamic. Notes of thyme. Finest Slovenian craftmanship! — 5 years ago
I put this up with turkey leftovers. Good cutter. — 6 years ago
Another vintage of an old favorite. Deep red color. Aromas of dark berry fruit, leather, dried herbs and forest floor. Flavors of sour cherries, ripe strawberries, black raspberries, balsamic vinegar, sweet and earthy spices along with those dried herbs. Long, peppery, earthy and slightly sour finish. Nice complexity. Very rustic but quite austere at the same time. Not overly acidic and oak notes are at a minimum. — 7 months ago
Fruity, sweet but balanced table wine, good for the winter months. Has some woodsy oaky-ness with smooth tannins. — 2 years ago

Lovely, full-bodied red. Stands up to lamb chops yet, a day after opening, tadted nice with pasta, sausage, and tomato sauce. — 3 years ago
