Sauternes Sémillon Sauvignon Blanc

Château Suduiraut

Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend 2009

Great wine, from a half bottle.
Lots of complexity and depth of flavor. Honey, white chocolate and caramel. Nectarine, pear and bloodorange. Almonds, oats and buttery cookie-dough.
Exquisite balance, luscious sweerness, fresh acidity and spicy bitterness.
Deeeelicious now!

Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend 2005

Golden hue. Aromas of apple, dried fig, golden raisin, honey, orange zest, peach. Full body and high acid. Mouth-coating and creamy texture on palate, with a slight mineral finish that begs for refills. Rich, decadent and delicious. 90% Semillon, 8% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Muscadelle. — 6 days ago

Château Suduiraut

Lions de Suduiraut Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend 2018

Deep golden color. Beautiful aromas of apricots, dried blonde figs, candied orange peel and honey. Apricot, pineapple and honey flavors fill the palate with hints of clementine, mango, sweet spices and candied ginger. Nice touch of salty preserved lemon on the finish. Mouth coating finish. Enough acidity to cut through all the sweetness. Rich and quite fresh tasting. Outstanding QPR! — 18 days ago

Château Climens

Barsac 1er Cru Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend 1986

1986 vintage. From 375 ml's. Double decanted and tasted across five separate bottles over the course of 5 hours. Consistently excellent. Oodles of peach and tangerine along with the usual, age appropriate, honeyed/dried fruits flavors. Showing really nicely and should so for the foreseeable future. 3.14.24. — a month ago
