Delicious black fruit and herbs — 4 years ago
Nose has a bit of poop. Mostly blows off with air.
Palate is grippy blackberry fruit. Quite young.
Let’s see where this goes
As it opens sort of an Aglianico version of good dolcetto. Sweet fruit. Great spice. Not super complex. — 4 years ago
perfectly quaffable. a bit of extended maceration brings out some really nice salinity and ripe melon notes in catarratto. — 6 years ago
We couldn’t find the exact lovely wine we had on our honeymoon, but this is the same region/type so we tried this. Nice fruity sweetness (lemon/pear?) but with background acidity/minerals too to balance and make it fresher. Not always a big fan of white wine but really like this! — 6 years ago
Crisp pear, honeysuckle, granite, white pepper all weirdly washed with a bit of acetone? Who knew this works? Juicy lemony flinty mineral finish. Very hot tub-able — 4 months ago
A really nice full bodied wine. Mellowed with the evening. Mineral and deep red cherry. Great deal! — 2 years ago
Nose is spice and green pepper. Pepper goes away with air. Replaced by black pepper.
Palate is huge hit of spice. Incredibly fresh hand crushed wild blackberries. Super delicious. Amazing silky texture. Spice integrates with air. Amazing entry level wine. More perfect mid season cherry with air. Cherry pit as well.
Long cherry finish. — 4 years ago
Summer in a glass!! So good lemony orange wine that is light and lovely — 5 years ago
Wowza is this a classic Montepulciano or what. Super rustic, fruity, and rich. You’d need an equally rich food to meet this match. Almost too intense of a grape, but certainly an experience. — 6 years ago

Crisp - like an unaoked Chardonnay. Italy sept 2025 — 10 months ago
100% Aglianico. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas and flavors of plum, black cherry, tobacco, dark chocolate, graphite and freshly turned soil. Touch of pepper spice on the finish. Bright acidity and very firm tannins. Bone dry. Best with food. Give this one a decant. — 3 years ago
Whoa, bursting with juicy bright tropical fruit. One note, but nails it. — 4 years ago
