Nice wine-by-glass offering at The Grill. Black currant , Sahara dry , big wine. — 8 years ago
The only brut I've enjoyed drinking! Dry as it should be, but doesn't leave your mouth parched like the Sahara. Light crisp flavor, hint of vanilla & lemon. — 8 years ago

Great wine! Pleasantly surprised by how good it was — 3 years ago
Grassy Czech, described to me as “not quite natural.” Which made it sound sinister — 7 years ago
This fun bubbly brings the brut. It's Sahara dry, with a strong earthy and yeasty streak running through it. The unusual grape - Trepat - comes on with some of the earthiness of a North American variety, and provides a nice counterpoint to the Pinot Noir. It's my first time to taste Trepat, by the way, and I would do it again. Minerals all over the strawberry aromas and flavors hit very well, and provide food friendliness. Medium garnet color. Very dark chocolate, tart cherry on the palette. Medium body, well balanced. Not too much tan in, not sahara-y. Great mouthfeel! Tasted blind with Packer and Jordan — 4 years ago
Still young and brash but drinking nicely after opening. Maybe tobacco. Dry as the Sahara, in a good way — 8 years ago
Earthy, leather, austere with dried fruit and tarty finish, full-bodied with grainy tannins and Sahara dryness finish. Yeah me likes! Very tasty blend of 97% of Tinto Fino and 3% CS. Extra points for the price. 89pts — 9 years ago

Wonderful wine! Dry as the Sahara desert, complex nose, cherry, herbs, very small touch of citrus. Long lasting on the palette. Paired beautifully with a crispy duck leg confit — a year ago
