This - drink now wine was really not made for aging - !!!! was lost in my cellar. I have no system whatsoever and like surprises. Lots of acidity. Faint kerosine notes like in an aged Riesling. Lemon curd. Meyer lemon. Crushed partially oxidized apple pulp. After 1 hour and reaching RT profound apricot flavors and a touch bitter. A great wine for an at the time a ridiculous low price. What a delightful surprise! Maybe you are deeply expert when it comes to Muller-Thurgau wines, but I was very happy to meet this new friend. A wonderful, fresh pear overtone with that racy Austrian acidity and crisp, dry finish—and it was sparkling! Not just a light frizzante but a full Prosecco-level mousse. This was wonderful with a zuppa toscano and some garlic bread, but I bet it would go with most anything. — 4 months ago
