Refreshing and easy to drink, even if you don't typically like whites — 2 months ago
Great red blend, easy on the pallet. — 2 months ago
This is a punchy 6.8% but very moreish ale. Brewed for Easter, as the marketing says harking back to the strong ales brewed by the monks for feast days, this is a strong, dark amber, full bodied ale. It is malty with a good sweetness that balances the sweet malty sugars with the aroma of hops (Fuggle, Pilgrim, Cascade and Golding), and for me, a deep caramel aroma too.
It is is brewed with the local Sussex spring water Harvey's has used for over two centuries. — 2 months ago
Surprisingly delicate taste. Went well with brisket as well as with chocolate — 2 months ago
This is a delicious complex Chablis that is vibrant despite (or perhaps due to) being released 14 years after the vintage! Golden straw colored; super fresh nose of honeysuckle and pear; melon, crisp minerality. Perhaps a touch thin compared to the other ales Lys I have tried. But great nonetheless with years to spare. — 2 months ago
