Wowza! This was a revelation. Honeysuckle, fresh kiwi and yeast waft from the glass. Such a sensational inviting, aromatic profile. Ample weight on entry featuring the viognier, a dash of sweetness from the muscat and bright lively flavors of quince and loquat. Really good stuff.

Perfect weekend lunch wine. Bright, crisp, and great acidity. The nose is incredibly aromatic - gooseberries, wet stone, lime and strong florals. On the palate honey, pineapple and citrus and a touch mineral. Really nice finish. Made by the great Celia Welch, this wine is so good and was purchased at the always spot on suggestion of the OG of the WNH, @David L

Getting low on the 2016’s. Glad the 2017’s have arrived as reinforcements. Easy buy/great value.

Yup, opened another one - and it’s still outstanding.

Now that it is December, I can confidently say this was my favorite all-around white wine of the year. Fresh, fragrant, a joy to sniff and drink...and bargain given the pedigree. 40% Viognier, 40% Muscat Blanc, 20% Riesling for the 2016 blend.

Third bottle this month, all shared with friends who are now converts. That could be bad for me in the long run, but so be it. Just an amazing blend and great value for the pedigree. Aromatic and layered.

Wait, what? Southern Oregon...where’s that, and how did they come to make such amazing white wines? The sock puppet has questions. Voluptuous density with amazing balance of floral, spice, and tropical fruit notes. Gonna have to look into this Muscat thing...

Much as we’ve loved the Bevan Sauv Blanc, this has become our summer favorite (and it is still summer in San Diego). Made by Celia Welch from hometown grapes. So aromatic, fresh and nice acidity. Joined the list just for this wine.
