Hint of raspberry. Very drinkable. Great with pizza. — 9 days ago
I theory enjoyed this wine. It opened up fantastically and had a smooth velvety flavor. Paired with beef, rice and carrots. Plan to purchase again. Would taste better with steak or something more full in my opinion. — 15 days ago
Gave this 90 min of air in a decanter before touching it. Dark tawny and mostly translucent. Exciting nose. Notes of sour cherries, rhubarb, slate stone, some menthol and iron, old desk wood, spice and a touch of kirsch. Dusty fruit in the mouth with a long finish. Can probably benefit from a bit more age to develop more complexity. Plenty of life in front of it and pretty dynamic tonight. — 3 days ago
Wow. A stunner.
Nose is fresh peach skin and apricot
Palate is light peach. Balanced but not overtly acidic. Not heavy. Delicious. There is something very elegant about this. A rare tropical wine that is clean but not blowsy or syrupy or unctuous or too much. Almost this sweet beauty on the finish.
As this opens the nose is a unique thing of beauty. Not peach. But peach flowers. A thing of beauty. Nose filling but so elegant. The barest hint of clove maybe gives some complexity. Some minerality comes out on the palate. Maybe some lemon zest. Great elegant texture. A mere kiss of a coating on the palate. Lingering spice.

Had this recently at a tasting. Blended with 15% Sémillon, giving nice body, pale lemon, with aromas of stone fruits, smoke and floral herb notes. On the palate flavors of apricot, lemon and ripe pear with smoky notes. Medium length with vivid acidity ending crisp. Nice value. Tasting Sample. — 17 days ago
