My second bottle in a little over two months, it seems better than the first bottle. A little more of everything. Lots of pure apple fruit, nice minerality. Nice concentration and balance, with less prominent alcohol than my first bottle. Very nice glass of wine! — 3 months ago

Fragrant chard with apple/ pear w a hint of citrus on the finish. Excellent acidity and some stony minerality. Bright and welcoming. Tom- it may be trying to pass itself off as a more haughty cotes de beaune, however. — 14 days ago

Hard to think of a better pairing for the cuisine of Smyth than white Jura. Here, a blend of 80-20 Chardonnay and Savagnin. It’s pulsatingly energetic with racy lemony acids giving vibrancy and lift to its salty, nutty and mineral flavors. It’ll certainly gain complexity with more age but it’s drinking beautifully now out of the decanter. A tremendously food friendly wine. — 12 hours ago
