Clear, medium to deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of black plums, blackberries, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary flavors of blueberries, black cherries, and tar with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense, but the alcohol is a little high. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it, too. — 21 days ago

Very good but I have some mixed feelings maybe. Nice and velvety, almost Nebbiolo/Barolo like with lots of tar. Good tannins but definitely mellowed. On sale at Flatiron maybe because 2014 Dolcetto is starting to drink old? Could have more structure? 09/17/2023 — 2 years ago
