Riserva Chianti Classico Sangiovese 2019

What a nose. Mint and menthol along with dark cherry, some oaky notes, some kirsch touches too. This is a great, multi-layered nose. The palate is very well made with a great acid backbone, some width, some nice mouthfeel, with a good grip. Cherry notes, a bit of tar, make way to a massive ball of a mid palate that introduces a strong layer of tannins, leaving some drying dimension to the mouthfeel over a very long cherry driven finish with that tar thing. It's great stuff! — 2 years ago

Great wine and only $25. Powerful Super Tuscan filled with earth and leather. Dark chocolate to start with plum, with leather and tobacco to finish. — 2 months ago

Great Italian vintage, this doesn’t break the bank if you can find it.
Decant still needed.
