Too rich for my blood, but as the name suggests, it had a lovely purity. Sweet black cherries, violets, pepper, and hints of olive tapenade. Very sweet, concentrated, and full-bodied on the palate. Was looking for more elegance. — 3 months ago

Gift from Matt. I really like this. Each time I have it. — 2 years ago
It is very pure—red raspberry, red cherry, and licorice, amped up with damp soil on the nose. The palate brings more licorice/anise/tarragon vibes, with a little lilac winking on the finish. The acid is vibrant, the tannins are dusky, and the alcohol is respectful. — 5 months ago

Ordered at Ferraros when recommended by the sommelier. Did not disappoint and would buy again. Inky, dry, and notes of black cherry complimented the the meal well. — 18 days ago
