Perfect rosé! dry, acidic, tastes insanely of strawberries. From Gus — 6 years ago
Honestly such a good Pinot noir. Great for a wine night with a few spicy pals! We split this bottle with a few friends while watching pulp fiction & Tokyo drift. Definitely will buy again. — 7 years ago

Nice and enjoyable, both the Franc and the Fiction — 8 years ago
You know in Pulp Fiction, when Ms. Mia Wallace is doing whatever illicit drug she's doing in the bathroom, and then says, "I said God damn!" -- well, this is my Ms. Mia Wallace moment. From the Nahe, this is the 2015 Schafer-Frohlich Riesling Vulkangestein Trocken. Coming from 30-40 year old vines in Felsenberg and Stromberg, the Estate's volcanic soil grand crus. For me, this encapsulates everything 2015 was meant to be... gorgeous, lush fruit, rocking acidity, beautiful balance, vivid aromatics, and laser-beam precision and tension. Damn. This is total prima ballerina dancing on your tongue. Nose/palate: lemon blossoms, orange blossoms, grapefruit, kiwi, passionfruit, so lively, and in-your-face minerality. Brilliant. — 9 years ago

So this is a good story! It’s too hot to go outside for one so I decided to open a wine I haven’t had yet and pair it with some cheese for an afternoon snack. A double Gloucester with onion & chive cheese, a garlic & herb BellaVitano and a soft dill Havarti and of course I love Castelvetrano olives! So… I send this picture to my brother, knowing that he is in France right now and I’m not usually a French wine drinker, and where do you suppose he is? In Alsace!! Needless to say I scored some points with him and am enjoying a new French wine! Thanks Alex!! Oops I forgot, this wine is made up from the Noble grapes of Alsace; Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Muscat. And… the story goes on….while reading a historical fiction about The Women of Chateau Lafayette. — 3 years ago

loved this wine! unique and delish — 5 years ago
Reading new fiction tonight from my thesis group workshop.
Magenta hues. Bouquets and bouquets of fresh roses and raspberries. Straight up fruit perfume.
Fresh pressed blackberry juice, watermelon sour patch, strawberry jolly ranchers. Fruit forward with medium tannin structure, not too sweet. Aromatic.
Nice, but a little underwhelming.
After aerating and decanting for even 30 minutes, this red got a bit more complex on me. Started to taste a spicier kick right at the end, almost like a red bell pepper. Overall structure seemed to improve. Added a tenth or two. — 6 years ago

I get it, I get it, I understand the hype now. This was the last bottle of the day, the crowd thinned down to 3 from 7 and 15 bottles had already been consumed. The color of the wine was the first hint that let me know this was going to be different. In the glass this looks like water. However once your nose gets into the glass you know this cannot be water. Notes of lime, oranges , herbs and stone fruit blast their way into your nasal passage. You almost feel there’s no need to drink it, just snort it. Everything that your nose was treated to is amplified on the palate. Pure fruit and electrifying acid. I now know what Uma Thurman’s character in Pulp Fiction experienced when John Travolta stabbed her in the heart with a shot of adrenaline. — 6 years ago
