This is the type of wine I really enjoy. Earthy, not too dry, not sweet. A little dry, but not to make you pucker, medium tannins, NOT fruit forward (thank god). It tastes like an Italian red wine. Served it with a bolognese-ish pasta. Worked well, very enjoyable. Sangiovese, merlot and petit verdot. — 15 days ago

Another solid vintage of this unique Tuscan wine. IGT blend of Teroldego (90%) and Syrah (10%). Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of red and black fruit, leather, dark cocoa and orange zest. Flavors of cranberry sauce, cooked black cherry/berry/plum and raspberry fruit with additional hints of vanilla, dark chocolate and pepper spice.
