+1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A prodigious medium ruby red color. On the nose: red fruit, licorice, herbs, sandlewood, smoked meat. Taste: Still youthful and energetic with red raspberry/plum, dark currants, tea, earth, and a clove/dark chocolate med plus finish. YUM! — 2 months ago
Deep garnet color; graphite, blackberries, and oak on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like casis, crushed gravel, and leather with a long finish. It may be a little past prime, but it still has a little fruit. Best wine I've ever had. Dark ruby hue. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, cassis, leather, plum. Plus body, full tannins, plus acid. Balanced, bold, and refined, with a long finish. Definitely worth pairing with hearty food. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. — 11 days ago
My last two bottles of Continuum have both been below average.
1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Nice nose of mature cherries, earth, and subtle baking spices. Wine was tannic, spicy, and unrefined. Medium plus depth but weak finish. Disappointing for the price. — 2 months ago

Beautiful ruby in color, with a very wide reddish rim. Bricking at the very top.
Light nose with red and black fruits, light cedar and tobacco leaf.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black plums, currants, cherries, earth, black coffee, oak, herbs, vegetables, spices, tobacco leaf, dark chocolates and black tea.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 26 year old from the great 1998 vintage in Southern Rhone is drinking beautifully now. Soft and smooth, elegant and earthy.
Not so good right out of the bottle, and needed 90 minutes of airtime to open up properly, so be patient.
Robert Parker 95 points. Wine Spectator 94 points.
Will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Showing nice complexity and good balance.
I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
14% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

Tasted side by side with the 1990, as well as the 2005 (en magnum). There was another 1989 at the table and two other 1989s at the dinner, plus one more 1990. There was bottle variation amongst the 1989s, but all were solid. Nevertheless, this 1989 was generally regarded as the best of this vintage. The 1990 was more rounded and complete. The 1989 had more acidity 35 years on, but worked well with the sweet bread. — 13 days ago
Much sweeter bigger berry and more full bodied. 2017 Rutherford is north so the clay soil helps with the Rutherford. Medium to full body. — 2 months ago

Pretty color of ruby with a wide reddish rim.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
Showing black currants, cooked cherries, tobacco leaf, herbs, vegetables, light wood, licorice, coffee, light cola, vegetables and black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This beautiful 24-year-old Bordeaux from the great 2000 vintage seems still young, although decanted for 4 hours.
Elegant and powerful. Rich, yet subdued. I loved the nose, that showed lots of wild flowers.
Wine Spectator 91 points. Robert Parker 92 points.
This Fifth growth is nicely balanced with nice complexity at this point. Still needs a few more years in the bottle to mature properly.
I've had many vintages of this wine, and so far the 2009 was my favorite.
Good by itself and better with food. Paired nicely with dried meats and cheeses.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
