Green gold glinting diamond. Cap smoke, toasted sesame, wildflower honey crystallized, snap pea, chive, lime racing around lemon and zesty crystal droplets stratifying aromatically. Incredible lime zest and essence over lemon verbena, lemon pastry puff, and carnation petal. Amazing in every way.

Opened prior to dinner and enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2011 pours a bright gold color with medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with gorgeous notes of ripe and tart orchard fruit: bruised Golden Delicious apple, lemon drop, marmalade, white flowers, a whiff of clove, Marcona almonds, lanolin and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is wooly. Weeeeeee!!! A special bottle that’s drinking so well at the moment. Drink now with patience through 2036. — a month ago

Been hanging on to this for 12 years; yikes. From Jason at Solano Cellars. At La Posta in Santa Cruz. Not quite past it yet! But waiting for the character. Tight on nose, not too past it lacking perspective so far. — 24 days ago
Tasted during WSET Level 2 class on 6/9/2025. Very good. Fresh black and red fruit flavors. — a month ago

A portrait in elegance. Initially the nose is shy, but unfurls into a full range of lemon, from underripe to meyer lemon; yellow flowers, lilies etc, a slight amount of flint minerality, lemon custard, hint of fresh almond. On the palate reminiscent of a delicious lemon custard accented with a touch of vanilla, fresh acidity, great texture, good length. What a great wine. My first from Brisset and I must say I am impressed. @Lyle Fass — 14 days ago
