Opened about an hour before our Thanksgiving dinner; a preamble of sorts. At these early stages, the 2020 Amador County is like a laser beam of lemon citrus. Yes, there are lemon blossoms and minerals too. The acid is racy and there is a bit of a wooly texture too. Exciting now due to its youthful energy but should be fun for several years to come. — 11 days ago
Honey-brioche and almond extract commingle with orange blossom, crystalline honey, light maple syrup and butter, marmalade with aromatic musk. The warm flavors of mouth-coating, unctuous citrus defy comparison, but evocative of marmalade hard candy, candied oranges, tangerine, clementine, nectarine, dried apricot, Meyer lemon essences, and baked apple and yellow pear. Golden; delicious.

Between a Sauvignon blanc and a Chardonnay. Excellent fullness without lingering. Not heavy. Keeps SB’s dryness but more full than most. 2013 was perfect with Thanksgiving dinner. — 11 days ago
Blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc & 35% Semillon, pale lemon-green with pronounce aromas of tropical and stone fruits with herb notes, 25% new oak. On the palate flavors of melon, apple and grapefruit with peppers and a touch of herbs. Medium+ length, balanced lively acidity, ending with a fruit and mineral character. Very good to drink now, will benefit from bottle aging. — 6 days ago
