100% Arinto grapes. Straw golden color with an interesting green hue. Grapes are grown in literal cracks in the volcanic soil. Intense mineral aromas along with hints of grapefruit. The palate is full of minerals and grapefruit as well along with an infusion of lemon. Nice note of salinity on the long and lingering finish. Beautiful freshness and acidity. Fresh and persistent. Outstanding and unique! — 2 years ago

When in the Azores drink… lovely Azorean whites, especially from Pico. Like w many Portuguese whites ( & reds), a blend- of what, I don’t know ( probably Verdelho). Salty, volcanic, & some serious yellow fruits. Bought in local supermarket for about 18$. Paired w local Sao Jorge cheese, local cured ham, & artisanal sesame crackers. Damn. — 6 months ago

Seems he nailed this vintage. Best bottle I can remember trying from this producer. All the oxidative notes are now fully integrated. — 2 months ago
