Champonois like. Brioche, no sign of effervescence but it was very pleasing — 5 months ago
Very muted in the nose… hardly anything at first, fresh saltiness, barely a hint of green apple & lemon peel. And yet, fresh & enticing.
And then, on the palate this sings! Simply beautiful! With a touch of roundness & creaminess on the palate but also vibrant acidity, salinity, stony minerality. Ripe yellow apple & lemon. Vibrant, juicy and quite complex. Great depth & length.

Likely some bias as enjoyed it while in the Acores, but tried a bunch of arinto while in the Acores and Portugal proper, and this was the favorite by far. Simply delicious. — 4 months ago

21 years old. I had my doubts and it poured nearly brown but shockingly the tannins and acidity kept it all together. Definitely past its prime but still a compelling drink. — 10 days ago
