Founded in 1877 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, a little village the heart of the Côte d’Or by Jean Bouillot, a wine and spirits merchant. A blend of Chardonnay and Aligoté from both northern & southern Burgundy. Pale yellow with fragrant aromas of stone fruit and some biscuit notes. The palate shows apple and pear flavors, lemon zest with nice texture. Tangy long finish, vivid acidity, champagne like, pleasant, ending with fresh yeast character. Tasting Sample. — 8 months ago
