#AgedWineTuesday
Light salmon in color with a golden hue.
Sweet nose of honeydew, peaches, honey, light earth, ripen citrus fruits, dried apricots, tangerines and light raspberries.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Off dry on the palate with strawberries, apples, pears, peaches, tangerines, spices and rose pedals.
Tangy finish with limes.
This is a very tasty and easy drinking semi sweet wine from Paso Robles. A nice surprise, as I didn't expect much from it.
Nicely balanced with enough acidity to balance the sugars. Very enjoyable and aromatic.
This 27 year old is drinking very nicely now and will be still good in the next few years.
Needs a few hours to open up properly and show the complexity, so be patient.
At this point it has too much going on to pair with food, like spicy Thai food, and might interfere. Not sweet enough to pair with cakes, and better by itself as a sipping wine.
10.4% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Enjoyable. Dark for a ramato- more rose in color than you’d expect. — a day ago
Color of dark purple, quite inky. Nose of dark fruits with spice, fermented cabbage, vanilla, and just a bit woody. The nose is decent. Taste of ample acidity, good soft tannins, grassy notes plus strawberry, some more dark fruits and ripe grape, and a bit rind. Taste is balanced with flavors. Aftertaste shows some strength of alcohol, a bit peppery note, and some more strawberry. Quite nice. — 5 days ago
GSM blend Rose with a bit of Albariño. Plum, sour cherry, with a bit of citrus lift from the Albariño. Nice blend. — a day ago
When I think of Paso reds, ripe and rich are the first things come to mind. Not this bottle though. At 8 years old, the fruits are so fresh and pure. Only on the 3rd day that it started to show some tertiary notes of fig, black tea leaf, and dried mushroom. Love the 13.5% abv.
From one of my favorite boutique wineries. 299 case made. — 13 days ago
Not sure where this came from, but we enjoyed it with some stuffed jalapeños. More body than a typical Pinot. Very drinkable. Nice full flavor. Would buy again. — 6 days ago
Forward red-black fruits, veso leaf, subtle baking spice with a smooth finish. — 8 days ago

Medium ruby with a very powerful Ripe👃 of blue and red fruits. Blueberries, dried cranberries, a bit of dried herbs, and blood orange. The wine is drier than the nose and the Paso Robles location led me to assume. Plenty of body (full) and tannins, this is what I would call a brooding wine. Medium acidity. Nice, pleasant finish. Would probably have gone better with a heavy stew and fall/winter weather. It’s 90 degrees and I’m drinking it on a walk. That being said, I’m the kinda guy that will eat pizza for breakfast, so it’s still good. — 2 days ago
