I’m always down for a bottle of Canvasback as I find it to be consistently good. I enjoy the robust, ripe red & black fruits, the notes of cedar and wood shavings, menthol and baking spices, and the seductively sweet notes of burnt brown sugar, molasses, and Luxardo syrup. While it’s on the higher end of the price I consider reasonable for this selection, it’s still agreeable in my opinion. — 2 days ago

간만에 마시는 카베르네소비뇽 100%, 오픈한 순간부터 몰려드는 과실 및 오크통의 풍미가 사람을 아찔하게 만드는 매력이 있다. 아직 숙성이 되기에는 몇년이 더 남았다는듯 전반적으로 붉은 자줏빛을 띄고 있고 농도는 짙은듯 짙지않다. 한모금 들이키는 순간 예전 Bishop을 마셨을때와 같은 바디감이 확 치고 들어오며 그 이후에 느껴지는것은 가득차는 포도와 자두의 향과 맛의 조화다. 달달한 듯한것은 마신뒤 올라오는 과실향이며 실제로는 드라이한 편이다. 타닌감은 산미와 어울려 조화롭게 마무리되는 기분좋은 와인이다. — 25 days ago
The other Pinot for Hedy’s Turkey. Brought it for those that like a firmer structure, dark spice and cinnamon stick in their Pinot Noir’s. This was also selected to go with the Turkey and take us into dessert as the pumpkin pie I made has clove in it. If you haven’t had pumpkin pie with clove, you should try it. Much more interesting because of the character it brings. Deeper flavors without taking away from the sweet in pumpkin pie. — 6 days ago

Lived next to this vineyard for two months. This wine captures a lot of the wildness and magic of the place. Aromas of “Anderson Valley garrigue” (pennyroyal, redwood and spruce, artisanal marijuana), fresh foraged berries, black cherry and exotic spices. Drank this vintage with good friends who are constantly introducing bottles who are part of the duckhorn delivery club or whatever subsidiary duckhorn has. They opened it at the end of dinner. Honestly this was bottle number 2 after 3 NEIPAs already onboard. It was very smooth, fruity, incredibly balanced and I dont think any of us even put our glasses down while enjoying.
