The legendary Three Palms Vineyard tasted in Pass-A-Grille on a leisurely Saturday on the gulf - priceless.

1 hour decant(little cloudy sediment). A wondrous dark ruby red color. On the nose: jumping from the glass are dark berries, loamy earth, oak, pencil shavings, and smoke. Taste: soft, lush, integrated wine with dark plum, currants, lots of milk chocolate, and a spiced cherry/tar medium finish. YUM!

Outstanding. Parents are in town for 8th grade graduation (I have a high school kid now 😳). Deep dark red color. Black fruit, mint and cedar. Velvet texture (not sure how else to describe). This opened up nicely after about an hour. I really love Duckhorn Merlot.

Not jammy not overly plush but an A+ Napa mostly Merlot that will be even better in about 2 years and should hold up for decades after.

Our 4th Duckhorn wine of the evening and one of their best. From the Anderson Valley this wine has what I consider a lot of heart and soul. It’s light and lively yet complex and very interesting on the palate. Produced from grapes of three separate vineyards with balanced fruit and acid, then barreled in 60% new French oak. This one will be a frequent occupant in our cellar. Cheers 🍷
