Prisma Calatayud Garnacha 2018

Bodega Paco Mulero Prisma Garnacha 2018 Calarayud DO

A very good surprise. Licorice and red forest berries on the nose, a nice, full bodied palate with a strong acid backbone, a nice fruit all along, some width and matter on the sides, a nice round mid palate with a bit of tannins which give a slight drying effect and leave way to a tiny bit of bitterness in the end, amongst red and black forest berries notes.

Oh so bright and citrusy. I might get tired of this and have to temper my palate with some oak, but this is very dry and clean, well balanced with mineral flavors that go with the citrus acidity. — 2 months ago

Lola Evergreen Vineyard Chardonnay 2012

Who would have thought that a WA white would age well. This one is proof. Still a nice bit of acidity to it. Went really well with our chicken dish tonight. Saving some for tomorrow. — 2 months ago

Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2017

Playing catch up so notes will be brief for a while...

Tart cherry cola and the tart note is key in keeping this pinot from becoming to fat/flabby. A great food wine!
