Smooth and elegant. Acidic w mineral and white pepper notes w just a touch of Brett. I imagine this is what Syrah tasted like 100 years ago. 😊🙏🍷 — 22 days ago
Bright lively acidity. Green apples on the nose and front of palate. Funky yeasty almost beer like notes. Medium bodied. Age in barrels shows well. — 3 days ago
The 2010 Bocca di Lupo is showing marvelously at the nine year mark. Sourced from this storied Puglia vineyard, the wine was partially aged in new French and Hungarian oak barrels (25%) before bottling. Tightly wound upon entry, this needs an hour decent to fully be aroused. Once awoken, the Aglianico takes the lead with a dense core of red fruits, leather and baking spices, with firm tannins and suggestions of milk chocolate that round out the expressive palate. Showing good freshness and verve, as well as weight, the 2010 Bucca di Lupo will enjoy a long life in the cellar. Drink 2019-2035- 92 — a day ago
One of the better Bourbon barrel cabs I've tasted — 4 days ago

Road tar, smoked black fruits, green olive, and loads of meaty, gamey notes emerge from the 2016 Northern Blend, which is 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier that was co-fermented and aged in used barrels. This big, sexy, exotic effort just screams Syrah and is full-bodied, has terrific depth of fruit, polished tannins, and just overflowing amounts of character and charm. Drink it any time over the coming decade or so.
Jebs review, can’t disagree. Great for $30.00 — 4 days ago
Sweet notes, perfect with cheese boards or spicy food. — 13 days ago
95% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano. 9 barrels produced. Bright acidity, soft plush red fruit. — 4 days ago
Nose has white pepper, spruce needles, cedar shavings, fresh cherry and mashed black currant.
Palate has pepper dusted mashed cherry, tart blueberry, black cherry, (light) limestone dust and (light) new oak. Medium levels of acidity/tannin help this wine to be very soft and enjoyable.
100% Pineau d’Aunis from 125 year old vines; maceration in barrels and amphoras, then barrel aged for one year. — 13 days ago
11 barrels produced. First ever 100% PV bottling by Ridge. Just incredible. I’ve had several bottles of this, and it pains me this was the last. An INCREDIBLE wine. — 2 days ago
