Deep purple in color; cherries, blackberries, and dried herbs on the nose; high acidty; medium plus tannins; tastes like raspberries, tart cherries, and wet rocks with a long finish. It really opened up after being in the fridge overnight. I'm really enjoying this wine. — 7 months ago

At 10 years old this Pinotage is hitting its stride, no mustiest on the nose clear and bright garnet in the glass with rich berry flavours on the palate. Fruit and acidity as well as alcohol balance.
A great expression of what South Africa does very well and Kanonkop always delivers. Terrific wine and has at least another 6 years or more to fully mature. — 2 months ago
