Fred and Dora’s Vineyard. Concord grape nose and dark fruit purple with lighter medium body. Nice! — 13 days ago
Medium body beautiful and complex vinho verde. High acidity with floral, honeydew, pineapple, citrusy flavor and long mineral/salty finish... An absolute pleasure and guaranteed you will want more than one bottle. The main difference with the Spanish counterparts it resides ( besides soil ) on the warmer temperatures in the region. That tropical fruit signature is the unique trace that put this Alvarinho on a league of its own... — 17 days ago
Such a distinct cab, unlike any Cali cab...from a small vineyard above St Helena, planted in the 1970s, only produces 3 barrels by Tynan (winemaker at Lede Family Wines). Buying since initial 2012 vintage...see RP 100pt review of the 2013(wow!!).
3 hour decant (min sediment). A brooding inky dark garnet color. On the nose: blue fruit, floral, sweet cherry, spice, pine tree all burst from the glass. Taste: blueberry, blackberry, smoke, minerals, tar...rich and lush mouthfeel with firm tannins that goes on and on. More time in the cellar should benefit my remaining bottles! — 15 days ago
Totally different wine from the last bottle I had. Not sure if it’s bottle variation or some more age. Short decant. Dark cherry color. Reserved nose of dark cherry and medicine. Wine has lovely texture and is deep with great fruit and menthol. Medium finish. Maybe my expectations were too low, but this was very nice. Much closer to the first bottle I had! — 18 days ago
Pretty good. Opened in Indian Creek, ate with pasta. Good value. Good flavors. — 13 days ago
Delish! Rich and red fruits. Woody flavour. We had with a spicy Ethiopian lentil stew and it disappeared fast! — 11 days ago
