Les Ruchottes Chassagne-Montrachet Chardonnay 2020

Amazing vintage for Ramonet. 2020 Ruchottes, one of the absolute best plots in the region, is simply stunning tonight, with incredible richness, density and texture. It’s powerful, focused and already particularly complex flaunting layers of lilies, citrus blossoms and signature Ramonet spearmint freshness. Finish just stays with you. So good! — 4 days ago

Quite evolved. Some even said ‘premox’.
Liked it though.

Classic Blancs de Noirs Brut Champagne Pinot Noir

Going a few months back from memory so no detailed tasting notes - inviting #champagne with some richer toasted notes, almonds and much more than expected layers. — 4 months ago

One of the best wines I’ve had in years and an amazing example of Ramonet Monty. Somm called it “electric.” — 6 months ago

Spectacular, at peak but still very lively, a glorious example of perfectly aged white Burgundy. — a month ago

Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru Chardonnay 2005

Missing that raciness and mint, but not as fat as expected, tightened a bit after some time, enjoyable but not profound. — 3 months ago

"Les Vergers" Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2017

Punchy and intense. Lime, saucy powerful honeyed notes. Really intense and reduced and long. Steely and sizzling with acidity. Impressive- almost like chassagne cordial. I presume will settle with time but enjoyable if bracing now. Excellent. — 5 months ago
