This time was definitely better than previous one. More fruit and nuisance. Maybe needs more time to develope? — 3 months ago

Large nose of black cherry and oak, vanilla. Softened and slightly chalky tannins, beautifully balanced. Great mouthfeel, ripe but not overpowering dark red and black fruit, slight camphor, pencil shavings, wet stone. Very very nice. Medium + finish. Drinking wonderfully now. — a month ago
Basic Cab, good finish. Steph didn't like. Had at Victoria's wine Wednesday. — 3 months ago
At Fung’s dinner with brothers, Duck, meatballs, and noodles. This was firm yet rounded with diary notes minerals and dart fruits well balanced and good with the 8 Treasure Duck — 7 months ago

By the glass with lunch, no formal notes. First time ever trying Khikhvi and I can imagine this is how wine was made 1000 years ago. Obviously extended skin contact with a copper salmon color. Funky fresh nose and complex on the palate with all sorts of interesting fruit and non-fruit things going on. Acid and tannin providing good structure. Certainly a change of pace and quite enjoyable actually. — 6 years ago

14.8% abv. Tasty. Dark thick fruits taste. Intense but pleasant. — 4 years ago
Loved it. Lush, bold flavors soft finish. — 5 years ago
Decanted 45 min though think it needs more time, very young wine. Very aromatic fruit when opening the bottle. Dark red fruit - black cherry and plum, raspberry; chocolate, coffee, graphite, pepper, plush tannins, well integrated acidity, high ABV but hides it well. Medium finish. Will be interesting to see this evolve over next few years in the cellar. — 6 years ago

Trying some 2017 Napa cabs lately. This is another really good one for a tough year. Lots of life left year. Still a bit tight on open, but 30 minutes later drinking well. BlackBerry, cassis, graphite, black licorice, plum, wet stone. Lovely wine. Surprised by how good some of these 17s are aging. Excited to try them again in a few years. — 10 days ago
