Toast & mixed nuts & sour citrus & herbs leap out of the glass. Well aged at 10 years.
The fruits are; lemon meringue, bruised red apple & Bosc pear, apple cider, ginger to ginger ale, muted lime pulp, overripe green melon, sour pineapple, griping limestone and chalkiness, sea fossils, saline. light, delicate white spice, dry herbs, caramel, cream brûlée, cream soda, hints of root beer float, pretzel, baguette crust, jasmine, green, yellow lilies, excellent acidity, well; structured, balanced, knitted finish that last minutes. Time in the bottle makes all the difference.

LV10. Pop and pour. Stunner, but better on day 1 than on day 2. On the nose: soft florals, vanilla, lemon, lime. On the palate: soft mousse, lovely acidity, grapefruit pith, wet stone and a solid finish. Clashed a bit with some of the heat in some plates last night, but fantastic on its own. Seems to be peaking. — 2 years ago
This is their entry-level wine, 100% Palomino from the La Platera vineyard in the Pago Miraflores. Vines are about 25 years old and rooted in albariza lustrillos soils. Fermented and aged in stainless steel (no oak barrels, no flor). Intense, mineral nose with flinty notes. Dry, fresh, saline, elegant. — 4 months ago

Seriously good stuff. 100% Palomino from biodynamically farmed 60 years old vines in their best plot, the the Viña Platera (1.2 hectares) in the Pago Miraflores. Fermented and aged in used oak barrels (with wild yeasts and no biological aging). Light, delicate, very complex. Hints of gunpowder, minerals and chalk. Great length. — 3 years ago
Blend of 60% Palomino and 40% Moscatel, from two different vineyards, both farmed biodynamically. The Palomino comes from La Platera vineyard in Pago Miraflores (albariza soil), while the Muscat comes from Pago Abulagar ( sandy-clay soils). Fermented and aged for 9 months in used oak barrels. Very aromatic, perfumed, a bit natty. My least favorite of the lineup. — 4 months ago

A medium lemon color with energetic effervescence. Tiny, fast paced bubbles. Honey and yeast aromas immediately upon opening but it gets so much better from there. Big citrus notes of lemon zest and melon. Chalk, flowers, and moist earth.
What a weird, singular, and gorgeous champagne. Straight out of Trépail with a wine a blanc de blancs that displays purity, focus, and the terroir. Zero dosage and remarkable acidity. An intense champagne on day one but becomes more approachable the next day.
The palate is emotional and deep with a plethora of fruits. Hazelnuts, brioche, and caramel. Green apples and peaches for days. A dazzlingly array of notes here over two days. Ethereal and wonderful. — 2 months ago
