Very unusual wine, but it grew on me. This wine almost tastes like a lambic, with an oxidative flavor followed by a sour finish. It went well with Lavraki.

Apr 4th, 2024Seriously good stuff. 100% Palomino from biodynamically farmed 60 years old vines in their best plot, the the Viña Platera (1.2 hectares) in the Pago Miraflores. Fermented and aged in used oak barrels (with wild yeasts and no biological aging). Light, delicate, very complex. Hints of gunpowder, minerals and chalk. Great length.
