Delicious and unexpectedly bold with subtlety. A finessed, velvety finish with dark red fruit. 2013 has held up exceptionally well. — 6 years ago
Great rose! Super flavorful and a good price too! — 7 years ago
Need some McLaren Vale #Shiraz for steaks so I'm going with the not too big Mitolo #Jester -plum, blackberry, black currant- a real #TonguePainter — 11 years ago
Its so rare to find Australian offerings at nice restaurants ...this one was fairly surprising at $60. — 11 years ago
This is Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre from the Grampians (the region where Mount Langhi Ghiran is grown), mostly rich darkfruit aromas and flavors, Grenache shows late as well as some lovely acidity, there is a clear cool climate edge to this (not rich, thick and syrupy like the Mitolo), which in turn makes it such a refreshing GSM blend, I really like this a lot!! — 2 years ago
Love it, one of the best whites I have had recently. Tropical fruit / citrus, complexity, really suits me. — 7 years ago
Spicy, chocolatey, fruity — 8 years ago
Aged but strong bottle - 2004 I tried at home was plush with plum fruit, gentle acid and background tannins. Slightly on downhill yet retains elegance. Over 2+ days it held up quite well refrigerated. Quite a bit of sediment. — 8 years ago
Blackberry fruity. Big bodied. Me like. — 11 years ago
Lovely aromatics, subtle spice and cedary oak complexity. Really velvety texture and fresh layered fruit flavours. In fact excellent integration of flavour all round! I am really stoked about this wine. It's a sexy, elegant silk dress....made from fruit. And yes.... I would wear it.

Very nice wine. — 6 years ago
Purchased at the winery about 4 or 5 years ago, we thought this was excellent - much better than some of the ratings we saw in the trade magazines. Intense but balanced, complex fruit with hints of eucalyptus that for me is a great trademark of wines from this region in Australia, this was really terrific. — 6 years ago

Citrus LOTS. tart finish. GREAT — 7 years ago
Initial smell is very early. After about 7 minutes it seems to open to something more chocolate.

Mulberry and blackberry aromas and flavors, big, rich McLaren Vale Shiraz, still showing very fine structure, and will age further, but a wonderful drink tonight as well!! — a year ago
