Pale golden white. Short brief head in pour, moderate carbonation with medium sized bubbles. Label says it’s part of Heirloom Series, 8% alcohol. Pleasant perfumed apple aromas in nose. Expected McIntosh flavor profile in mouth but much more subtle and complex than that. Ever so slightly off dry, slight astringency in finish so very gently pressed. Slight malic snap in finish. This Pinot Blanc is so beautiful! Lovely ripe nectarines, fresh pineapple, and apple blossoms on the nose. Bright on the entry, with McIntosh apples and fresh white peaches gushing into the palate, unfolding into guava, ripe Comice pears, and finishing in lemon pith and peppercorn.
