Like the McDonald's slogan musically proclaims: I'm lovin' it. Violets and minerals, silky smooth texture. Yum. β€” 7 years ago

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

I respect the pros -- anyone who can get someone to pay them to drink wine can't be completely clueless, but the pro that rated this wine at 8.3 must've been pairing this wine with a McDonald's happy meal. Maybe it aged well for me, but I really love this wine. Great flavor and body. Tastes like a cab to me. β€” 9 years ago

Conundrum California Red Blend 2014

I thought I was going to hate this wine. But, much like McDonalds French fries, it has undeniable likeability.

It reminds me almost exactly like Red Schooner, the Malbec from Wagner. The nose is very similar, the color remains impenetrable red and the hyper-oak-vanillization is apparent. Given that this is about half the price, it's certainly in the McDonald's happy meal realm.

I don’t disagree with any of the foregoing comments but...it is inherently drinkable, not sweet as the vanilla notes might indicate and at 15.2 % alcohol, a worthwhile buy.

Domaine Long-Depaquit (Albert Bichot)

Chablis Chardonnay 2018

second chablis from a zoom blind tasting with a friend preparing for a test.

a little better than the last one.
high acidity.
medium - body
citrusy. salty.

i was even guessing oak πŸ™ˆ as its so balanced.

paired lovely with quarantine McDonald's kids had for lunch (not so good food which was no surprise), orange soup (mainly sweet potato with chopped fresh green onion) and leek cutlet with pepper sauce.

no wonder chablis is so big in israel and the whole world. simple, tasty and satisfying. especially for it's price. stating the obvious, but still.

excellent vfm (70 nis).

Albe Barolo Nebbiolo 2011

Drinking well now with a short decant but still young. Floral aromas that are very inviting. Cherry, strawberry, rose petals, and tar on the palate. Broke this out to enjoy since my 2 yr old son fed our 25 lb dog about 16oz of filet mignon and now I can say this paired well with McDonald's chicken nuggets and fries. β€” 8 years ago

Ultra Brut Sparkling Wine 2010

Yes!! I love this stuff! We bought this bottle last year at the winery in Napa to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We popped it open a year later on our 11th anniversary. It's spectacular with notes of green apple and citrus (grapefruit, maybe). I am a little ashamed to admit that I paired it with McDonald's Chicken Nuggets and fries, but it was delicious! β€” 9 years ago
