The 2010 Ultra Brut is Domaine Carneros' driest sparkling wine, 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay. The mousse is fine and persistent. It has aromas and flavors of yeast and citrus. It's crisp and bright with ample acidity. This would pair with a variety of foods.

Didn't love at first. As it warmed up it grew on me. It was trying to be yeasty and STARTED to before feeling Champagne-y. If a lemon got inside an apple and that pc of fruit got some oven time....drydrydry. older solid CA bubbles....right on.

Yes!! I love this stuff! We bought this bottle last year at the winery in Napa to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We popped it open a year later on our 11th anniversary. It's spectacular with notes of green apple and citrus (grapefruit, maybe). I am a little ashamed to admit that I paired it with McDonald's Chicken Nuggets and fries, but it was delicious!

Delicious! I might be a little biased because it brings back memories from my Napa vacation, but I love it. It's great for Sunday brunch or even with Thanksgiving dinner.
