Good acid for a grape variety that gets me curious
A bit of maceration of the skin that gives it the extra bit of colour
Just a touch too tannic that perhaps wasn't needed considering the good freshness
Still ok, but less enjoyable than the Angelina drank the same night. — 7 months ago
Loved this wine. Had at Lagniappe in Miami — a year ago
Dense, rich, powerful. Very good value for money. — 4 months ago
Skin-contact Torontel/Torrontés from very old vines (nearly 80 years old) in Loncomilla, a sub-region of the Maule Valley in Chile. 8 months of skin maceración, hence the intense orange color. Very fragrant, aromas of tropical fruit aromas (guava). Round, complex, smooth — 9 months ago
Petrol like a good Reisling; but more fruit. Citrus, some piney notes. Excellent food wine but very tasty on its own. — 4 months ago

Powerful and fruit forward Rioja. Bold purple color. Mostly Tempranillo with small amounts of Graciano (15%) and Maturana (5%). There are some notes of mushroom, dark chocolate, herbs and balsamic vinegar, but this wine is dominated by intense red berry fruit. Long finish and soft tannins. This one needs food. Revisited in October 2021. Notes above still apply but more floral (rose petals and violets) on the nose than last time I had this wine. Deep ruby color. Revisited again in February 2022. More floral than previous tastings. — 2 years ago

Great wine! Much better after you aerate it. We liked it better the next day. — 4 months ago
