Good fruit. Blackberry. Chocolate. A bit of grippy tanins. Maybe some vegetal notes. — a month ago
2018 vintage. Lovely deep purple moving towards ruby. Slight wet earth backed by vanilla and pipe tobacco. Plum and dark berries with clove. Soft and luxurious tannins across the tongue. Raspberry and sour cherry melt into lingering black pepper and bell pepper spice. Balanced acid. Beautiful wine. — 3 months ago
Good, light pecorino wine, went very well with pesto tonight. — 2 years ago

Surprisingly good budget friendly Montepulciano. Deep ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas and flavors of plum and dark cherry with hints of granite, spice, and smoke. Very long finish. Full bodied with surprising depth and brightness. Drink this one young. Pleasant surprise! Excellent QPR! — 2 months ago
Masciarelli Trebbiano D’Abruzzo DOC 2016: Light-bodied. Medium acidity. Great golden yellow color with fresh flavors of peach, apple, honey & lime. Pleasant minerality and an off-dry finish. This was an unexpected find at my local neighborhood market. It was in the discounted bin so I was cautious yet optimistic as I am a fan of Trebbiano wines, whether from Romagna, Abruzzo, Veneto or Umbria. Long story short, this was delightful. A very refreshing & approachable Central Italian white wine. Cheers🍷 — 5 months ago
