Interestingly smoky on the nose. Chewy at first sip as if strained through leather. Dark berry mid pallet with bark and spice finish. Humorous as some share a forest floor taste which I guess would depend on which forest. The wine is good and would go great with saucy pastas. Two thumbs up. Finally, with a good cigar the cherry flavor pops big time!!! — 15 days ago
