Deep, vivid ruby. Vibrant red and dark berry, floral pastille and licorice scents are complemented by smoky mineral and cracked pepper accents. Sappy and energetic in the mouth, offering juicy black raspberry and cherry cola flavors that deepen and become spicier as the wine opens up. Finishes with smoky mineral thrust, smooth, slow-building tannins and very good, floral-tinged persistence. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, March 2021)

Easy drinking and very good with food. Near the Rioja family. — 6 days ago
In spite of excessive sulphur, it is still a good wine. Will the sulphur ever go away? — 12 days ago
Blew me away. Nose is so elegant and pretty with lavender and dried red fruit. Just perfectly balanced palate with enough meatiness to know you’re drinking Mourvèdre but not enough to turn off the non-wine-geeks. So expansive on the palate in terms of the breadth of flavor and complexity, but at this stage of evolution it’s incredibly approachable and easy drinking. Smiles. — 10 days ago
👁️ Wonderful pale tawny colour.
👃 Deep aromas of confites dates, Agent prunes, toffee and torrefied black coffee
👄 Similar aromas found on the nose. Extremely seducing, rich and powerful.

A bit spritzy to start. Really gets going on night two, broadening out to rich black currant, cranberry and blackberry reduction, orange peel, violets and other florals. Great acid with strong granitic minerality promising good aging potential. Behind the 2017 for me at the moment, but could win out in time. — 23 days ago
So good - odd - but that’s what I like about it. Keep going back for more. — 15 hours ago
